Items to shop for while your ring is being resized (Part 1)
Depending on the style of your diamond wedding ring and the intricacy of the work to be done, resizing can take as little as ten minutes to as long as two weeks to complete.
However, if you’re just having your simple metal band adjusted to a size down, here are some items that you can shop for while waiting.
Jewellery
Since you’re already in the shop, why not take time to browse through their collection of diamond rings and earrings? Who knows – you might find your new favourite piece!
Aside from that, you can save yourself the trouble of going somewhere else just to kill time. Some jewellery shops even offer free biscuits and drinks to their clients as a complement.
Instant coffee
Most of us need our daily dose of caffeine to get us through the day. For times when you’re too busy to stop by your favourite café, you can always rely on some old-fashioned instant coffee.
Whether you prefer a long black or a flat white, most supermarkets have various coffee varieties and brands that will suit your taste best.
Toiletries
Isn’t it so annoying to run out of shampoo or soap in the middle of a relaxing shower or bath? To avoid this, it’s best to keep an extra bottle in your bathroom every time.
While your ring is being resized, go on a quick trip to the chemist and grab the toiletries that you may need in the next couple of days.
Books
Waiting can be a pain sometimes. To kill boredom, shopping at a bookstore is a great idea. More than its rich library of literary pieces, the relaxing ambience alone can make you forget time.
Once you found the book of your choice, sit on a nearby bench and go on an adventure that only our minds can reach!
Disposable batteries
Although often overlooked, batteries play a significant part in your household. These can instantly power up clocks, remote controls and flashlights among others.
Most of the time, we take these compact energy sources for granted, only remembering to buy them right when we need them. It won’t hurt to stock up on these once in a while.
