Modern designs for men’s wedding bands

Weddings are momentous occasions for all couples. When thinking of wedding rings, however, most of the focus is on what the bride is wearing. Much like the bride’s band, men’s wedding bands can be incredibly sentimental pieces that bring out a husband’s style and personality. Modern jewellers can craft wedding rings for Sydney residents that can either be matching or complementary to the partnering band, offering a striking look for both.

Some of the first examples of wedding rings date back to over 6,000 years ago in ancient Egypt, as a sign of perpetual and eternal love between two people. Modern rings and jeweller techniques have come a long way in that time. With modern tools at their disposal, jewellers are able to craft bands for men that can emphasise their personality. Fine details and intricate patterns can be engraved into the ring to provide a truly unique look. The engraving can be a completely individual design, or can be done in such a way that it complements the bride’s band.

Traditionally being either yellow gold or silver, modern men’s wedding bands can be crafted in a variety of colours. In addition to the shades of gold, yellow, white and rose, more striking looks can be created with black titanium. The design can be further enhanced by providing additional colours to truly stand out. Modern jewellers are able to craft pieces that can have two different coloured metals in contrast of one another, or intricately weaved together for a breathtaking design.

Although not regularly seen in men’s bands, stones are able to be set into a wedding ring much like any other. This can be a unique stone, or can be of the same cut and colour as the stone in the bridal ring making for a matching pair.

With a near infinite amount of colour and style combinations available, jewellers can craft a truly unique wedding band that will allow the husband’s personality to shine through.
